NEEDS LIST - 2009

Many times we are asked, “What do you need?” This is difficult to answer as the list is long. In an effort to answer this, we’ve put together the following. Keep in mind that high fuel and shipping costs could make it more cost effective to designate a financial gift to specific need or program. High Priority (Items above the budget for which we are currently seeking funds.)

New Phone System – our current system is outdated and can not be repaired.

- Phase I Community Center ~ $4,500 - Funded

- Phase II Main Office ~ $4,500

- Phase III Campus ~ $2,000 - 4,000

Small Utility Vehicles – We are trying to replace our large maintenance vehicles with smaller more efficient vehicles. These will be used by our grounds crew, building maintenance, and on the farm. We are hoping to have these donated or purchased soon. Examples: utility golf carts; John Deere Gator; mini-trucks; 4-cylinder trucks; New- $10,000; Used $4,000-$6,000.

Five Gallon Drink Dispenser – for Food Service ~ $150 - Funded

Tools for Workcamp – Cordless Drills (6) $60 each

Kerosene or Electric Heaters and Fan's

Heavy Duty Automotive Scanner/Global OBD II/All 9 Modes ~$1,649 (NAPA)

Frakes Daycare Scholarship Fund ~ $120 to $180 (depending on age) to support one child a month. General Operating Expenses - (We always need help with expenses.)

On-going Needs

Food Pantry: Self-rising Flour and Corn Meal, Sugar, Cooking Oil; Canned meats (tuna etc.)

Personal Supplies: Deodorant, Toothpaste, Shampoo, Shaving Cream, Razors, Hand Soap, Cold and Cough Medicine for adults.

Cleaning Supplies: Laundry Detergent, Softener, Bleach, Clorox Wipes, Hand sanitizer, Dishwasher Detergent, 13 and 39 Gallon Garbage Bags

MIHOW/Daycare Needs: Diapers size 2-6, Pull Ups, Good Start Formula, Baby Wash, Shampoo, Baby Food, Infant & Children’s Motrin/Tylenol, Pedialyte, Gas Drops, Wipes, Sippy Cups, Thermometers

Thrift Store – We can take almost anything in the thrift stores. We accept clean clothing; house wares, and furniture for sale locally. If you have large or unusual items, please contact us before shipping.
